Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held a meeting with a delegation from Afghanistan, led by Minister of Industry and Trade Nuriddin Azizi.

The delegation visiting Uzbekistan includes approximately 300 Afghan entrepreneurs and businessmen.

The sides discussed prospective areas for mutually beneficial cooperation in sectors such as economy, investments, energy, transport and logistics, mining, agriculture, and other important fields.

The visit of the Afghan delegation to Uzbekistan will continue until 6 July. Planned activities include meetings with representatives of various ministries and agencies. Additionally, a business forum and an exhibition of Afghan products are scheduled during the visit.

Moreover, the guests will visit several industrial enterprises in Tashkent and Samarkand, and explore Uzbekistan's rich cultural and historical heritage.
