Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Users on social media have reported increases in the prices of methane and propane at compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations.
As of 1 August 2024, the previously established maximum retail price for methane of 3,750 soums per cubic meter has expired.
According to users, at some CNG stations, the price of methane has risen to between 3,950 and 4,250 soums. However, in some regions, the old price of 3,750 soums is still being maintained.
It has also been reported that in the Andijan region, the price of propane has reached 6,500 soums.
