Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Issues of further development of Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance were considered during a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on 9 August.
Particular attention was paid to further building up trade and economic cooperation and continuing active humanitarian exchange.
The leaders of the two countries also considered the schedule of upcoming events and called for holding the next meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission, Uzbek-Russian interregional, educational and media forums in the near future.
An exchange of views took place on issues of regional cooperation.
