Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 July, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

The Head of Kyrgyzstan cordially congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, warmly wishing peace, prosperity, and sustainable development of Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, issues of further deepening good neighborliness and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were considered.

The results of the implementation of cooperation projects, including in industry, automotive, textile, and electrical industries, on the modernization of energy infrastructure and other areas of practical interaction were noted with particular satisfaction.

Particular attention was paid to preparing a portfolio of new trade and investment projects within the framework of the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan also considered the schedule of the upcoming high-level events.
