Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Tashkent City Mall shopping and entertainment center. This multifunctional complex provides modern trading facilities and a variety of services.

The five-story building of the center houses shops, restaurants, cafes, entertainment areas and sports grounds. There is also a two-story underground parking lot.

The center has boutiques of the world’s leading brands, including those introduced to the Uzbekistan market for the first time. The complex provides ample shopping, leisure and sports facilities, including gaming areas and 14 cinemas.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked with visitors to the center and got acquainted with the conditions of the five-star hotel, which is part of the complex. This 31-story hotel can serve 500 people at a time, providing 273 standard and high-end rooms. The hotel will also have conference rooms, swimming pools, a restaurant, a cafeteria, as well as a Smart Home system and high-speed elevators.

The hotel is scheduled to open in May, creating a further 500 permanent jobs. The President emphasized the importance of building modern centers that provide quality services to the population, not only in Tashkent, but also in other cities of the country.
