The document was adopted to speed up development and wide introduction of information-communication technologies and software into real sector of economy and improve efficiency of governance, decrease production expenses, ensure reliability and transparency of financial-economic activities of business entities and large enterprise, increase their competitiveness in internal and external markets.

The resolution said that enterprises of real sector of economy should widely introduce ICT and software, mainly of local production, into document turnover, accounting and reporting, carrying out financial-economic activities of the businesses, management of personal, etc.

The companies should improve quality and services, decrease prime cost and expenses due to introduction of ICT and software, new schemes for sales of their products via internet, new innovative mechanisms and technologies through cooperation with scientific-research and design organizations, as well higher educational establishments and others.

The resolution approved a list of projects on introduction of ICT and software into industries of real economy in 2014-2015. The project executors were entrusted to create working groups and develop schedules of implementation of the projects, as well as preliminary feasibility studies, etc.

Large priority projects on introduction of information-communication systems and software will be included to investment programme of Uzbekistan.

Each year till 1 June, it is planned to develop list of new projects on further introduction of information-communication systems and software in economic unions and large industrial enterprises for their inclusion to investment programme.

The companies, associations and large industrial enterprises were entrusted each year to envisage expenses for introduction of information-communication systems and software. They also should encourage employees, who are participating in the process each quarter.

Implementation of these tasks should help to develop ICT market and local software industry.
