Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 24 July 2015 and Senate approved it on 6 August 2015.

The law was prepared in line with the State program “Year of a healthy children”.

The law provides for new clauses, which are aimed at improving governance in the field of physical culture and sports, legal regulation of the system of state support, powers of state bodies, public associations and civil institutions in this area.

This law will contribute to the greater involvement of the population in physical culture and sports, formation of a development of young people, improve the efficiency of the system of training specialists in this sphere, formation of a modern and efficient infrastructure, sports, creating the necessary conditions for the preparation of high-class athletes, as well as the sports reserve, development of national sports.
