Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will undertake a state visit to Azerbaijan from 2 to 4 July 2025.

According to the visit program, 2–3 July will see the convening of the second meeting of the High-Level Intergovernmental Council in Baku, along with high-level negotiations and other official events.

During the meetings, the parties will discuss the further strengthening of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance. Particular attention will be paid to expanding practical cooperation and interaction in priority sectors.

On 4 July, the President of Uzbekistan will visit the city of Khankendi, where he will participate in the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and hold a series of bilateral meetings with the leaders of member states.
