Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 December, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the State of Qatar led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Centre of this country, Ali Mohsen Al Marri.

Chairman Al Marri conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan from the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The dynamic development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar was noted with satisfaction. The trade turnover and investment are growing, and significant joint projects are being prepared and implemented.

The progress of preparations for the upcoming important international event in Uzbekistan – the ceremony of presenting the global award “For outstanding achievements in the fight against corruption”, established on the initiative of the Amir of Qatar, was considered.

Mutual interest in further enhancing practical interaction, exchanging experience, and implementing joint educational programs in combating corruption was confirmed.
