Welcoming the guest, the head of the state said the French Ombudsman’s visit to Uzbekistan was a good opportunity to familiarize with the process of reforms in the country.

Jean-Paul Delevoye, in his turn, said relations between the two countries were developing steadily in all spheres.

The sides considered issues related to cooperation between Uzbekistan and France.

On 3 June, the ombudsmen of Uzbekistan and France signed a cooperation agreement.

During his visit to Tashkent, the Mediator of France held talks with the representatives of the Legislative Chamber, the Senate and a number of ministries and state bodies.
