Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 21 November, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, who is on a working visit to Uzbekistan.

The discussions focused on advancing bilateral relations within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership, in line with previously established high-level agreements.

Special attention was given to practical cooperation between the two countries' prosecutor general offices in areas such as combating terrorism, extremism, cybercrime, corruption, and illegal migration. Collaboration on the recovery of criminal assets and the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies was also highlighted.

The importance of fostering closer dialogue, expanding contacts and exchanges, and organizing joint activities between the prosecution authorities of Uzbekistan and Russia was emphasized.
