Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Manraj Sekhon, Chief Investment Officer of Franklin Templeton, who participated in the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

The meeting focused on the prospects for developing the National Investment Fund of Uzbekistan, the transformation of strategic state enterprises, and their entry into capital markets.

The readiness to implement programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency of state-owned enterprises, developing the capital market, and introducing the concept of "people’s IPOs" was also emphasized.
