Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in connection with his convincing victory in the presidential elections.
The letter notes that the high voter turnout and voting results confirm the unconditional support of the political course and program of socio-economic reforms carried out by Vladimir Putin from the population.
The President of Uzbekistan sincerely wished the President of Russia good health, prosperity and success in his government activities, as well as peace and prosperity to the Russian people.
The presidential elections in Russia took place from 15 to 17 March 2024. According to official data from the Central Election Commission, after processing 99.75% of the protocols, Vladimir Putin received 87.29% of the votes.
