Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — By a corresponding decree, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has made a series of appointments within the Presidential Administration and the Security Council.

Pulat Razzakovich Bobojonov has been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on Personnel Affairs, relinquishing his position as First Deputy Adviser on Personnel Policy.

Galina Karimovna Saidova has been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on Economic Policy, leaving her previous role as Deputy Adviser on the Development of Economic Sectors, as well as the Implementation of Investment and Foreign Trade Policy.

Obid Arzikulovich Khakimov has been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on Economic Policy and Director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms. In this connection, he was relieved of his previous duties as Deputy Adviser on the Development of Economic Sectors, Implementation of Investment and Foreign Trade Policy, as well as Director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms under the Presidential Administration.

Abdusalam Abdumavlanovich Azizov has been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on Representative Bodies, Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations, Religion, and Youth, relinquishing his position as Deputy Adviser on Socio-Political, Religious-Educational, and Youth Affairs.

Muzaffar Murotovich Kamilov has been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on Representative Bodies, Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations, Religion, and Youth.

Rustam Tuychievich Kamilov has likewise been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on these matters, stepping down as Head of the Sector for Information and Communication Technologies and Public Projects in the Presidential Administration.

Javlon Abdujalolovich Vakhabov has been appointed Deputy Presidential Adviser on Foreign Policy and Director of the International Institute of Central Asia.

Bakhodir Khamidovich Tashmatov has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, leaving his previous post as Deputy Secretary of the Security Council on Armed Forces Development.

Kamoliddin Karamiddinovich Mardonov has been appointed First Deputy Head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis.

Ulugbek Umaralievich Khanaev has been named Deputy Head of the same department and Chief Legal Counsel. Eldor Otamurodovich Khamroev has also been appointed Deputy Head of the department.

In the Department for Public Security and Rule of Law, Aziz Khasanovich Azimov has been appointed First Deputy Head, while Sergey Nikolaevich Gordeev has been named Deputy Head.

Changes have also been made in the Department of Communications. Gulrukhsor Kudratovna Khatamova has been appointed First Deputy Head.

Farrukh Farhodjonovich Omonov and Rustam Ravshanovich Mirzaev have been appointed Deputy Heads of the department.

Fatkhiddin Fazliddinovich Mukhiddinov and Khusniddin Kamaliddinovich Khoshimov have been appointed Deputy Heads of the Department for Preparing Analytical Content for Meetings and Regional Visits. Khoshimov previously served as Head of the Information Support Sector in the Department of Planning and Information Support.

Ulugbek Rauf ogli Normatov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations, leaving his previous position as Lead Consultant in the Public Opinion Research and Analysis Sector.

Ulugbek Shukhratjonovich Khusainov has been named Acting Director of the Agency for Management Efficiency. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Head of the Department for Regional Cooperation and Preparation of Analytical Materials.

In addition, Oybek Ulugbekovich Umarov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Office of Presidential Administration Affairs, stepping down from his post as Head of the Economic Activities Sector in the Finance and Administrative Department.

Nozimakhon Eldarovna Davletova has been appointed as Consultant to the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a contractual basis. She will also serve as Head of the Project Office for Human Capital Development.
