Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 February, during the second day of his visit to Kuwait, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah.

The talks focused on further developing Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations of friendship and comprehensive partnership.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan expressed sincere gratitude to the Crown Prince for the warm reception and attention.

It was noted that the historic high-level talks held the day before, as well as productive meetings with government members and representatives of leading companies, laid a solid foundation for expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

An agreement was reached to continue regular contacts and exchanges at the highest and senior levels. The parties agreed on the prompt launch of the Investment Platform, the implementation of joint projects in the agro-industrial complex, transportation and logistics, healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure development, and other areas.

Special attention was given to mutual support for initiatives within the framework of the "Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf" dialogue.

The parties also agreed to establish joint oversight to ensure the implementation of all agreements and decisions made.
