The report said Deputy premiere, minister of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for the Turkmen president’s official visit to Uzbekistan, scheduled for March 10-11, at a cabinet meeting.

In particular, the vice premiere said a set of bilateral documents designed to regulate the Turkmen-Uzbek relations in various spheres were being finalized jointly with the Uzbek side.

Having approved the composition of an official delegation to accompany the head of state during the visit to Uzbekistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the forthcoming Turkmen-Uzbek talks were expected to speed up and take to a new level the accelerating bilateral cooperation which is based on genuinely friendly, fraternal and neighborly relations between the two peoples.
