Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  During his visit to Uzbekistan, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Khokim of Navoi Region Normat Tursunov to discuss the construction of a technopark in the Navoi Free Economic Zone (FEZ), as reported by the Russian Embassy in Uzbekistan.

Tatarstan is providing advisory support for the establishment of the Special Industrial Park "Navoi Industrial Development Complex," specifically in the construction of the first building, which will cover an area of 40,000 square meters.

During the meeting, issues related to accelerating construction, providing necessary infrastructure, and training personnel for the park were discussed.

Rustam Minnikhanov invited Normat Tursunov and his delegation to visit Tatarstan in 2025 to familiarize themselves with the experience of industrial parks and FEZs.
