Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Asian Cycling Confederation Osama Al-Shafar arrived in Tashkent at the invitation of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan. The honorary guest was greeted by officials of the federation and media workers.

As part of his visit, Al-Shafar will meet with Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan R. Shaabdurakhmanov.

During the visit, issues will also be discussed regarding the current state of development of cycling in the Republic and its future prospects, as well as a number of tasks at the regional and international level.
