President of South Korea visits Independence Square
Uzbek President Islam Karimov and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and President of South Korea Lee Myung-Bak visited the Mustaqillik (Independence) Square in Tashkent.
The high-ranking guest laid flowers to the Monument of independence and humanism, which is a symbol of the people’s freedom, bright future and noble aspirations, UzA reported.
The South Korean leader highly evaluated the construction work carried out on the country main square and said it was a real symbol of the Uzbek people’s freedom.
