Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhaa will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan from 23 to 26 June. This was announced by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, high-level negotiations will be held in Tashkent, during which issues of expanding and strengthening Uzbek-Mongolian relations will be discussed.

The leaders of the two countries will discuss the development of political dialogue and inter-parliamentary contacts, increasing bilateral trade turnover, as well as the implementation of projects in the mining industry, agriculture, livestock farming, light industry, healthcare, transport and logistics.

Measures to intensify cultural, humanitarian and tourism ties will also be discussed, and views will be exchanged on international issues.

Following the summit, it is planned to sign a package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.

During the visit, the leaders of the two countries will meet with representatives of leading companies and business circles, and will also take part in a number of other bilateral events.

The President of Mongolia will also visit Khiva to get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan.
