Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will visit our country on an official visit on 7-9 February.

In accordance with the program of stay, negotiations are envisaged at the highest level, during which practical aspects of the further expansion of Uzbek-Belarusian multifaceted cooperation will be considered.

The focus is on increasing mutual trade turnover, developing cooperative ties in such industries as agriculture, light and food industries, pharmaceuticals, communications and others.

Partnership development programs in the fields of vocational education, healthcare, culture, sports and tourism will also be discussed.

Based on the results of the negotiations, it is planned to adopt a package of bilateral documents.

It should be noted that these days, in anticipation of the visit, several business events are being held in the city of Tashkent with the participation of regions and business circles of the two countries - the second Interregional Forum and a meeting of the Business Council.
