Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended the zero excise tax rate for AI-80 gasoline. This was announced by the press secretary of the President Sherzod Asadov.

“Tomorrow, on 1 March 2023, the zero excise tax rate for AI-80 gasoline, introduced by a presidential resolution from 10 December 2022, was supposed to expire,” Asadov said.

“In accordance with the resolution signed by the head of state today, in order to meet the demand for petroleum products and ensure price stability, the application of a zero excise tax rate to AI-80 gasoline imported, produced by domestic enterprises and sold by business entities to end consumers, has been extended until 31 December 2023,” the presidential press secretary wrote.
