Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On additional measures to ensure price stability in consumer markets.”

The document was adopted in order to strengthen the purchasing power of the population, meet its needs for basic types of food and consumer products, diversify global supply chains for goods, and curb inflation.

The head of Uzbekistan approved the list of goods, when imported into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 1 January 2025, a zero customs duty rate is applied.

The list includes meat and edible meat by-products, some dairy products, cheeses and cottage cheese, eggs, onions, lettuce, legumes, flour, fresh fruit, butter, sugar confectionery, vegetables (fresh and processed), etc.
