Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 January, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the division of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports.

The Ministry of Sports and the Agency for Youth Affairs are being created in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the Agency was moved to the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Sports will be located in the second building on Abdulla Kadiri Street, the Agency for Youth Affairs will occupy the rear number 11 on Alisher Navoi Street.

The Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports was formed on 1 January 2023.
