The presidential resolution said that the Council of Governors issued resolutions “On introduction of amendments to the agreement on foundation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, sanctioning its activities in counties of Southern and Eastern Mediterranean” (No 137) and “On introduction of amendments to the agreement on foundation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, sanctioning use of resources of special funds in beneficiary countries and potentially beneficiary countries” (No. 138) from 30 September 2011. The amendments introduces amendments to articles 1 and 18 of the agreement on foundation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (Paris, 29 May 1990).
The resolution said that Uzbekistan accepts amendments to the articles 1 and 18 of the agreement on foundation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which were approved by resolution of the Council of Governors of the EBRD.
Uzbek leader entrusted the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov to notify EBRD on acceptance of the amendments.
