Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As part of the implementation of the “Digital Uzbekistan-2030” strategy, a presentation of the work carried out in the field of tourism and projects planned for completion by the end of 2020 was held in Davlatobad district of Namangan city.

The presentation was attended by khokims of districts and cities Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, Olimjon Isaev and district prosecutor Jakhongir Hotamov, who got acquainted with promising projects. As for transformation projects, by the end of 2020, 18 projects worth 56.9 billion soums will be implemented in Davlatabad district.

At the presentation of the district administration for tourism development, within the framework of transformation projects, it was announced that the information system "E-mehmon" was introduced in the existing 7 hotels of Davlatabad district, that these objects were connected to the fiber-optic Internet network and have Wi-Fi zones that can provide the hotel building with the Internet within a radius of 100 meters.

The e-mehmon system allows foreign citizens and stateless persons to register through a website, a mobile application and an independent tourist registration system. The registration process for tourists and visitors will be fully numbered, and thus this work is solved without the participation of government agencies. Currently, there are 6 hotels and 1 hostel in Davlatobad district. Number of placements - 425.

4 new hotels and 2 existing hotels are under construction. By the end of construction, it will be possible to receive 1,725 visitors at a time. For the development of telecommunications infrastructure and mobile networks, as well as the introduction of the information system "E-mehmon" from the accounts of the executors will be allocated 1,845 million soums.

Currently, the reception capacity of the existing 28 hotels and hostels in the district is 1560 people. At the end of the presentation, the khokim of the district gave relevant instructions for the digitization of services in all hotels in Namangan.
