Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Preparations are actively underway in Hungary for the upcoming Uzbekistan Culture Days.
According to the Dunyo news agency, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Oybek Shakhavdinov met with Gábor Csaba, Deputy State Secretary for Cultural Diplomacy at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
During the meeting, prospects for bilateral cooperation in the cultural sphere were discussed, including the implementation of joint projects aimed at showcasing the unique and rich cultural heritage of both countries.
Gábor Csaba emphasized the importance of Uzbekistan as a key partner for Hungary in the field of cultural engagement. He expressed his readiness to support events that will help present Uzbekistan’s culture more widely on the international stage.
One of the central outcomes of the meeting was the agreement to hold Uzbekistan Culture Days in Hungary. The event will feature art exhibitions, concert programs, and other cultural activities, which will take place in museums, galleries, and theaters across Hungary.
Both sides underscored that cultural cooperation is a significant part of the strategic partnership between the two nations. The joint projects discussed during the meeting reflect a mutual desire to expand cultural exchange, thereby strengthening the friendship and understanding between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
