Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first meeting of the leaders of Uzbek national cultural centers in Ural Federal District and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan was held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The participants considered issues of interaction, proposals for conducting joint activities in the future, as well as assistance to migrant compatriots, who are in Ural Federal District and have fallen into difficult life situations.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on jointly organizing and holding the spring holiday of Navruz in Yekaterinburg.
