During the meeting, Sh. Tashmatov noted that the preparation for the Asian Games is fully supported by the state, in response to this, representatives of each sport are expected to perform productively. It is worth noting that at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, kurash players replenished the treasury of the delegation of Uzbekistan with the largest number of gold medals. During the conversation, it was noted that the martial artists strive to make a great contribution to the success of the national team in China as well.
In turn, the jiu-jitsu representatives also reviewed their plans in detail. Experts said that during the preparation of the national team for the Asian Games, it is planned to hold a training camp in Brazil, the birthplace of this sport.
During the meeting, additional recommendations were given on strengthening the medical and pharmacological support of athletes, conducting their medical examinations, and more thorough development of a training plan.
