Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz ) – Uzbek diplomats held a meeting in Jeddah with the adviser to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Badr Sulami, in Jeddah, Dunyo news agency reported.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Ministry’s leadership, gratitude was expressed to the authorized ministries and departments of Uzbekistan for their active efforts to successfully organize the Hajj-2023 season, including creating comfortable conditions for Uzbek pilgrims during their stay in Medina and Mecca, high-quality medical care and the activities of qualified imam-khatibs attached to each group.

In turn, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude for the conditions created and services rendered to Uzbek pilgrims during the Hajj-2023 season.

During the meeting, issues of preparation for the "Hajj-2024" season, changes implemented by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah this season were discussed.

The Saudi side stated that it would provide all possible practical support to the Hajj mission of Uzbekistan and contribute to the creation of more favorable conditions for Uzbek pilgrims.
