The press-service of the Czech Embassy in Tashkent said that the company sent two new trams to Uzbekistan on 13 February 2012.

Trams will arrive in Tashkent on the eve of Navruz (21 March), the press-service of the embassy said.

The diplomatic mission noted that Pragoimex a.s. opened its office in Tashkent in early 2011, which was headed by Milan Tomes.

Within the contract, Pragoimex a.s. will supply 20 trams of Vario LF model to Uzbekistan.

In August 2011, the Czech company delivered two trams of Vario LF model to Tashkent, which currently serve citizens of Tashkent city.

Vario LF tram is designed for 140 people in average. Middle door has low-floor and ramp. Tram has electronic driving system, which allows to save 30-40% of electricity. Trams can work in any weather conditions and at energy gap from 400 to 900volts.
