Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Power plants of Uzbekistan generated 254.6 million kWh of electricity on 17 December. About 242.5 million kWh of electricity was supplied to consumers, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

To achieve this, 45 million cubic meters of natural gas, 16.9 thousand tons of coal and 10 thousand tons of fuel oil were burned at thermal power plants.

Natural gas consumption in Uzbekistan amounted to 156.7 million cubic meters on 17 December.

Of the 1 thousand 204 methane CNG filling stations receiving natural gas from Khududgaztaminot JSC, 689 worked according to the established schedule.

Yesterday, Uzbekneftegaz JSC supplied a total of 1,160 tons of gasoline to all gas stations in our country.

Some 5.7 million cubic meters of natural gas and 400 tons of liquefied gas were supplied to existing methane filling stations.
