CBU issues licenses to three credit unions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan registered three new credit unions, the press service of the bank said on 29 March.
The Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan issued license, allowing to carry out credit union activity, to Madat-beminnat (Beshariq district of Ferghana region) with charter capital of 37.7 million soums, Navruz-kredit (Shakhrisabz city of Kashkadarya region) with the charter capital of 39 million soums and Sardoba (Namangan city) with authorized capital of 38 million soums.
The activity of new credit unions will be directed to finance business projects of their members and render leasing services.
