Representatives of Uzbekistan and Poland define new directions for cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit of the Uzbek business delegation to Poland, a roundtable was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan dedicated to the trade, economic, and investment potential of the country. This was reported by Dunyo agency.

The event, organized jointly with the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce, attracted the attention of business representatives from Uzbekistan and Poland, including companies such as EXIMMED, Al Af Expedition, "Resources" (Uzbekistan), as well as Ferro, AT.Trading, Polfrost, Jaeger, Technomex, Simed, and ACTION (Poland).

Opening the meeting, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev highlighted promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and proposed ways to expand investment partnership and industrial cooperation. He emphasized the significant potential for developing direct ties between businessmen from Uzbekistan and Poland.

President of the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce, Janusz Piechociński, in his address, noted the strengthening of trade, economic, and investment relations, emphasizing that bilateral trade turnover has tripled in recent years.

During the event, discussions focused on expanding economic cooperation, implementing new investment projects, and strengthening trade ties. Polish companies presented their proposals for introducing technological developments in Uzbekistan. Representatives of Uzbek business expressed readiness to leverage Polish expertise and collaborate with highly qualified specialists.

As a result of B2B negotiations held within the roundtable, agreements were reached on the export of agricultural and food products from Uzbekistan to Poland. Additionally, discussions with the Polish company Polfrost addressed the possibility of opening a Uzbek trading house in Poland to facilitate logistics, exhibition, storage, and sales of products throughout Europe.

Special attention was given to the establishment of representative offices of Polish companies in Uzbekistan to address transportation and logistics issues.

The dialogue between entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Poland marks an important step in elevating economic cooperation to a new level. Both sides expressed confidence in further expanding and strengthening their partnership relations.
