Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan from 26 to 27 May. This was announced by Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov.

He noted that the visit will take place on Sunday and Monday, TASS reports.

Ushakov clarified that Vladimir Putin will only visit Tashkent as part of this visit.

The presidential aide also said that the first working events are planned for May 26. There will be a meeting that evening.

During the visit to Uzbekistan, several documents will be signed.
