Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov met with the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

The meeting discussed issues of strengthening cooperation and developing a road map for international cooperation.

“We see how our colleagues from Uzbekistan, representatives of large engineering and petrochemical enterprises, have made significant progress. Therefore, we can exchange our technologies and develop solutions for organizing production. The main result of this meeting is that we are ready to make a decision on creating industrial cooperation,” emphasized Radiy Khabirov.

Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov noted that Uzbekistan is interested in industrial cooperation and the exchange of products between Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan.

In his opinion, Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan can develop cooperation in the chemical industry, especially in the small-scale chemicals segment. Bashkortostan has significant experience, knowledge and technology in this area. He proposed to join forces and launch joint production in Uzbekistan.

“We also have preliminary agreements on the creation of joint industrial technology parks in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. My colleagues and I will work on specific projects in all these areas,” added the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan.
