Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of business circles of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov, is in Vietnam on an official visit.

On 12 April, a meeting of the delegation from Uzbekistan took place with the Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the President of the Ho Chi Minh City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vo Tan Thanh.

In addition to Dilshod Rasulov, the event was attended by the chairman of the Uztekstilprom association Mirmukhsin Sultanov, a representative of the Uzbekistan Embassy in Indonesia and the head of the Zelal Tekstil company Firat Deniz.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economics and investment.

In particular, the issues of opening a warehouse for Uzbek textile products and reducing customs duty rates on goods from Uzbekistan were raised.

Also, during the visit, negotiations were held with the chairman of the Vietnamese company International Business Connection, Le Trung Kien. The parties discussed the opening of showrooms for textile products of Uzbekistan in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
