Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Zafar Sanginov was appointed representative of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.

He has already begun to fulfill his official duties.

An agreement on the creation of customs offices of Uzbekistan and Russia was reached on 2 December 2022 in Samarkand.

The representative’s task is to coordinate the interaction of the customs services of the two countries. This role involves analyzing and eliminating obstacles that impede the free transport of goods and vehicles between Uzbekistan and Russia.
