Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 April, Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhomjon Abdugafarov met with Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Bekjan Rismendeev.

At the meeting, issues related to deepening cooperation in the digitalization of the transport sector and the exchange of experience in this area were discussed.

Representatives of both sides expressed the importance of projects aimed at simplifying transport and transit procedures between countries, including the use of modern digital technologies.

Particular attention was paid to discussing the creation of an electronic permit system between the two countries, which is an innovation in international experience in the field of international cargo transportation and was first implemented by Uzbekistan.
