Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 February 2024, commercial banks in Uzbekistan have issued more than 46.07 million plastic cards in circulation, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The number of installed payment terminals exceeded 429.36 thousand, and the number of ATMs and information kiosks reached 28.8 thousand units.

The largest number of issued cards is recorded by the People's Bank of Uzbekistan (10.65 million), Agrobank (4.48 million), and Ipoteka Bank (3.83 million). As for installed POS-terminals, the leaders are the People's Bank of Uzbekistan (46.52 thousand), the National Bank (40.95 thousand), and Ipoteka Bank (40.14 thousand).

The top 3 by the number of installed ATMs and information kiosks included People's Bank (3,178 units), Agrobank (2,152), and Kapitalbank (1,745).

According to the Central Bank, receipts through payment terminals during January 2024 amounted to 24.84 trillion soums.
