Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) Maeda Tadashi.

“We had a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Mr. Maeda Tadashi,” the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that Uzbekistan values the bank’s experience in the Central Asian region and its intention to expand its presence through new projects in Uzbekistan.

“We welcome the growing interest of Japanese companies to expand their presence in Central Asia,” he added.
