Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 March, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.
The meeting was held in the city of Antalya (Türkiye) on the sidelines of the third Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, at the meeting the parties discussed a number of topical issues related to relations between Russia and Uzbekistan.
They exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including cooperation in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Sergei Lavrov and Bakhtiyor Saidov confirmed their commitment to maintaining a high level of strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan in accordance with the agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries.
