Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Consulate General of Uzbekistan held an online meeting with the head of the investment department of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) Luo Yilan, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the meeting, CATL representatives took part in the “China – Uzbekistan” investment forum, held in Shenzhen, and it was noted that this event is an important practical event in the further development of bilateral relations between the countries.

Luo Yilan noted that today the company is interested in expanding its activities and establishing production cooperation with enterprises of Uzbekistan.

“We are interested in participating in large-scale reforms in the direction of green energy in recent years and implementing promising projects in this area in cooperation with local enterprises,” said the head of the CATL investment department.

Also at the meeting, the Consulate General made a presentation on the investment environment created in our country, industrial development and the expansion of cooperative ties between manufacturers of the two countries.

At the end of the event, company representatives were invited to participate in the third Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will take place on 2-3 May.
