Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 February 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the US Embassy in Tashkent, organized a presentation of ongoing and planned US grants in the field of education.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov, Director of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Uzbekistan David Hoffman, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, and the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, and the Academy of Public Administration.

US representatives gave a presentation on current projects in the sphere and short-term plans to deepen cooperation in this direction.

A thorough exchange of views took place on organizational and technical aspects related to the implementation of projects in reforming the education system, strengthening human capital, supporting English language teaching, and expanding partnerships between universities.

Mutual readiness was expressed to continue close cooperation in the implementation of the joint projects, as well as other educational and exchange programs.
