Today, on the last day of the championship, athletes in the heavyweight category entered the fight for medals. At these moments, weightlifters performing in the -109 kg and +109 kg weights are taking place.
It is noteworthy that one of the young representatives of the Uzbekistan national team, Sharofiddin Amriddinov (-109 kg), was ahead of the record holder and champion of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Ruslan Nurudinov in the snatch exercise.
Amriddinov managed to lift 176 kg and win a gold medal. Nurudinov, with a result of 175 kg, received a silver award.
