Uznefteprodukt announced a tender for development of a feasibility study on modernization of existing production capacities at these two refineries to launch production of fuel of Euro-3 and higher.

In line with tender terms, participants should present modernization options for existing facilities at both refineries and schemes for producing high-octane fuel.

It is expected that Uznefteprodukt plans to sum up results of the tender in the first quarter of 2010. Total cost of the project will be determined at the feasibility study.

It is planned that the modernization will be started in 2011 and the plans will launch capacities on production of fuel of Euro-3 standard and higher by 2012.
