Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of Ferghana region and the State Security Service (SSS) detained Doston Khalilov in the city of Ferghana, who, according to them, has close criminal ties with Bakhtiyor Kudratullayev, known as “Bakhti Tashkentsky”.

The arrest took place as part of operations aimed at suppressing the activities of organized criminal groups and stabilizing the crime situation.

Doston Khalilov, born in 1992 and previously convicted of intentional minor bodily injury, was detained at the Dustlik border post while trying to leave Uzbekistan and flee to neighboring Kyrgyzstan.

A criminal case has been initiated against Khalilov under Part 3 of Article 277 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (hooliganism), for which he faces restriction of freedom from 3 to 5 years or imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
