Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of administrative regulations for the provision of public services for issuing a certificate of persons who have given consent to the privatization of separate housing (apartment, part of an apartment or house) and submitting an application for privatization of a state-owned property” was adopted.

From 1 July 2024, state orders and certificates for privatized housing will be issued by district (city) khokimiyats.

The State Unitary Enterprise “Center for issuing state orders and certificates for housing in Tashkent” is transferred to the jurisdiction of the capital’s khokimiyat. By 1 January 2025, the State Unitary Enterprise will be liquidated.

The document approves administrative regulations for the provision of public services for:

issuing a certificate of persons who have given consent to the privatization of individual housing (apartment, part of an apartment or house) - comes into force on 1 July 2024;

filing an application for privatization of state-owned property - comes into force on 1v 2024.

These government services can be obtained through the Central State University or MY.GOV.UZ. There is no fee for their provision.

To obtain a certificate, a person attaches the following documents to the application form:

a document confirming the ownership of housing;

if a family member of the owner applies, additionally a document confirming this fact;

power of attorney confirming the authority of the representative.

Within a maximum of 1.5 hours, the applicant is provided with the relevant certificate.

Upon applying for the privatization of a state property, the applicant is notified within 5 working days that after checking the circumstances, an additional notification will be sent to the applicant within 30 days.

Empty objects that have not been used for more than 3 months, belonging to ministries and departments, and local government bodies, are put up for auction for rent or sale without their consent.
