Samarkand and St. Petersburg sign an agreement on partnership and further cooperation in the field of tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the second day of the 28th Tashkent International Tourism Fair, the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg and the Samarkand Tourism Department signed an agreement on partnership and further cooperation in the field of tourism.

Within the framework of the Agreement, it is planned to establish contacts between subjects of the tourism industry, facilitate the organization of group and individual tours, interact in matters of training and advanced training of professional personnel; develop cooperation in the field of marketing and promotion of hospitality industry products.

In just two days of work TITF-2023 between travel agencies and tour operators representing the Samarkand region and representatives of the tourism sector from the CIS countries and Europe, over thousand agreements on mutually beneficial cooperation were signed.

TITF 2023 is an annual tourism event held since 1995 with the support of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
