The international tourism fair TITF-2023 starts in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 15 November, an opening of the 28th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” TITF-2023 took place at the National Exhibition Complex “Uzexpocenter”.

The organizers of the fair are the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee of Tourism, the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR Center", the company "Team & Co Group".

The general partner of TITF-2023 was Uzbekistan Airways JSC. The pavilion of the National Exhibition Complex “Uzexpocenter” has traditionally been chosen as the venue for the fair.

At the opening of TITF-2023, speeches were made by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Umid Shadiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC - Umid Khusanov, the President of the Fund for Support of Tourism Development in the Kyrgyz Republic - Abylkasym Sherniyazov, the Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Kenan Guluzade , as well as more than 1,500 fair participants, both local and international organizations and media representatives.

As part of this fair, a tourism exhibition is taking place, where 20 foreign countries (including the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Russia and others), 14 regions of Uzbekistan, private travel companies, a network of international hotels and inns, airlines, leading travel and transport companies, online booking systems. 

There is also a gastrobazaar with the participation of famous chefs, important sessions on various topics with the participation of leading international and domestic experts in the field of tourism, such as BBC World News, Lonely Planet and many others, and B2B meetings between representatives of private companies from different countries, round tables, exhibitions of tourism services and handicrafts.

15 foreign and more than 50 local travel companies that are engaged in sending tourists abroad have also been invited to TITF-2023 (hosted buyers program - professional buyers).

This year the fair will bring together tourism business experts from all over the world and, in many ways, it will be useful to all representatives of this field: representatives of the business community, employees of leading travel companies, largest hotel chains, diplomatic corps, educational institutions in the field of tourism, insurance companies, and also representatives of MICE tourism.

Visitors and participants of the fair will be able to take advantage of a unique chance to learn about new tourist destinations and immerse themselves in the colorful atmosphere, culture and traditions of foreign countries. And also, it will be possible to assess the tourism potential of new locations in all regions of Uzbekistan.

In 2023, the list of organizations providing partner support for TITF-2023 has expanded significantly. The financial partner of TITF-2023 was Asia Alliance Bank, information partners were Dunyo bo’ylab and Profi travel, and other local and foreign media and companies. Along with local partners, the organizers of TITF-2023 managed to reach an agreement with the Moscow Tourism Committee - Discover Moscow, which is a partner of the evening reception and eco-bags of the 28th Tashkent International Travel Fair.

TITF-2023 will become the brightest international event in the field of tourism of Uzbekistan and all of Central Asia, which unites common efforts to support the tourism industry in the region and will expand the geography of international cooperation in the field of tourism.

TITF is an annual tourism event held since 1995 with the support of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Every year the exhibition brings together hundreds of tourism industry professionals from around the world and creates conditions for the development of this industry at the international level.
